"...Our formula of centering the actor in the frame, in extreme wide shots and in coverage, keeps the audience focused on that person, but also gives us a sense of the character’s place in that particular decade by using our widescreen format to incorporate much of Mark Worthington’s amazing set design and décor.”

"...Mike’s lighting is always very consistent and very clean. The look of “Trophy Wife” is very soft light. The reason they hired Mike is, I think, because of “Ugly Betty” and a couple of other things he’s done. He’s really good at making women look beautiful. The skin tones are soft, no harsh shadows, no bags. The women look fantastic on his shows. That’s become kind of his signature on a lot of things. But because of the consistency of the camera and Mike’s lighting, it is wonderful for us doing the grading."
